V4 Services setup a Programme Management Office (PMO) for a Clinical Commissioning Group to coordinate multi-organisation programmes and projects that formed the Urgent Care Alliance. The V4 project team used their experience and expertise to provide clear communication between stakeholders and clarity across all partners, driving service improvements in the urgent care system. V4 were challenged with ensuring that the alliance was in a position to deliver at least a 3.5% reduction in non-elective admissions to hospital.
A clear governance structure was designed and implemented by the V4 team, pulling together data from the different partners of the Urgent Care Alliance. With these foundations in place, V4 were able to create clear and deliverable objectives, targets and project plans. This culminated in an overall reduction of 5.8% in non-elective admissions to hospital.
